This term refers to the percentage of your Solar Panels electricity production (and therefore rewards) you recieve. SolarShare does not pass 100% of a solar panels generation capacity back to users. We keep 10% of all produced electricity as an administration fee. The other 90% generation is forwarded to users. This 90% Generation Capacity roughly translates to 25% annual rewards though this figure can vary slightly due to weather, uptime, and other factors.
A blockchain is a decentralized digital ledger that securely and chronologically records transactions across many computers, ensuring the data cannot be altered retroactively. Blockchain brings trust and transparency to transactions and holdings.
Cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography for security and operates independently of a central bank. It enables direct peer-to-peer transactions. By employing blockchain technology, each user effectively acts as their own bank, with the currency's economics governed by predefined mathematical rules to prevent tampering.
When speaking about individual cryptocurrencies people often use the term token. For example the cryptocurrency, or Token, of SolarShare is $SOLAR
An NFT is a digital token representing unique ownership of specific assets, using blockchain technology to verify authenticity and prevent replication. Unlike fungible tokens like Bitcoin or Ethereum, where each unit is interchangeable, each NFT has distinct properties that make it one-of-a-kind.
Real World Assets (RWA) refer to tangible assets in the physical world, such as real estate, artwork, or commodities, with intrinsic value.
RWA Tokenization involves converting the ownership rights or claims to real-world assets into digital tokens on a blockchain, facilitating fractional ownership and investment in these assets. It makes the ownership and trading of these assets more accessible, frictionless, and secure. Owning a single solar panel halfway across the world and earning 25% APY is impossible without the benefits of tokenization.
$SOLAR is the native utility token/cryptocurrency of SolarShare, crafted to enhance dividend yield for Unit holders. Users can unlock increased energy generation capacity by purchasing and staking $SOLAR tokens within their Units. Additionally, $SOLAR serves as a governance token, granting holders influence over limited platform decisions.
Token Generation Event. This is when a project's Token or Cryptocurrency goes live. A notation such as TGE +1 or TGE +2 refers to the number of months after the Token Generation Event. Rewards & Incentives
These terms are related to the inner SolarShare ecosystem and our utility token $SOLAR. Users can earn rewards by participating in SolarShare.
